DAYS 1: MUNICH
Fly into Munich, Transfer from the airport to hotel rest of the day free to explore yourself.
DAY 02: MUNICH - EXPLORE THE CITY
Get your bearings in Bavaria's capital city by standing in the center of the Marienplatz
watching the charming, twirling figures of the Glockenspiel in the tower of the Rathaus (town
hall). Visit one of many world-class museums to see masterpieces in art, science, and
technology, then wander through the sprawling Englischer Garten (English Garden)
DAY 3: MUNICH – TRIP TO NEUSCHWANSTEIN
From Munich it's an easy day trip to Germany's fairy-tale castle, Schloss Neuschwanstein, in
Schwangau. Though the 19th-century castle's fantastic silhouette has made it famous, this
creation is more opera set than piece of history—the interior was never completed.
A half an hour tour reveals why the king of Bavaria who built it earned the nickname "Mad"
King Ludwig Across the narrow wooded valley from Schloss Neuschwanstein is the ancient
castle of the Bavarian Wittelsbach dynasty, Schloss Hohenschwangau, also open for tours.
Return to Munich city center in the evening.
DAY 04: MUNICH - FRANKFURT
Take train from Munich to Frankfurt! Upon arrival at Frankfurt Train Station meet your car and
transfer to the hotel. Check in and spend the rest of day at leisure. Overnight Frankfurt.
DAY 5: FRANKFURT: HOP ON HOP OFF BUS TOUR
After breakfast, begin your first day in this European metropolis. Discover all the major sights of
Frankfurt aboard a double-decker bus. Explore the former Coronation City of the German
Emperors and the modern European Banking Center. Explore the diversity of this historic and
modern metropolis. Come and see one of the largest European rail stations, the Museum
Embankment, European Central Bank and the banking quarter with its skyscrapers – among
them the biggest office buildings in Europe.
DAY 6: EXTEND YOUR STAY OR DEPART
Extend your stay or take your private transfer to Frankfurt Airport/Frankfurt Train Station.
